Wild Rice

I tried a new recipe I got from a friend for cooking Wild Rice today. It worked great, now I can cook up a big batch and freeze it in small packages for later use.
1 cup wild rice
1 1/2 cup boiling water
Can add chicken boulion cube.
Put in a kettle with a heavy lid so it seals well. Place in preheated 500 degree oven. Turn oven off and leave Rice in the oven for 8 hours. Take out and freeze.

Twins Win!

Way to play Twins! That last homer of the Orioles had me worried that the Twins might lose another game in the 9th but they pulled it together. That is two wins in a row, lets hope it’s a sign of more wins to come.
