Sewing Machine Pin Cushion

I made this pin cushion after viewing one on Pinterest.com. I love that site! I find so many good ideas there and I wanted to share one just to show myself that I don't just "look" at all the great ideas but that I do actually put them to use.

I cut the fabric scrap that I had to 6 X 5 1/2 inches, 5 1/2 is the length of the cushion, 6 inches folded in half is the width. The elastic is 1/4 inch by 13 inches. For the stuffing I just used a scrap of quilt batting, cut 3 pieces 4 1/2 X 2 inches.
